1) Go to Me
2) Settings and Privacy
3) Data Privacy
4) How LinkedIn uses your data
5) Get a copy of your data
This change came through about two months ago, and I do it monthly. (On the first). If you want everything, it takes 24 hours to prepare a data archive. Either way, they will send you a link to download it.

My entire profile is gone!

It will be a struggle to rebuild all my information, but at least I know there will be a way for me to back it up in the future.
