I’m guilty of using social media, text and email more frequently, as are many in my network as well. But you’re right, the phone call is more personal. The call can expand connections and lead to opportunities for both parties. If not a future new gig, you can certainly gain something for your current role or help in improving your performance.

I’m going to make more calls beginning this week.
